Hometown Half Marathon/5K/10K - Austin
The event takes place in Austin, Texas on May 15, 2027 and offers multiple race formats and participation options. Included for many entries are a custom bib, designer event shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for timed races. Free photos are available and pacers are provided for the half marathon. Finish-line treats will be available.
Registration details vary by event. Many races opened registration on November 10, 2025; the half marathon registration closes November 17, 2026, while the 5K and 10K registrations close February 9, 2027. Some events continue registration through race day. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is listed at $17 for ages 12 and under.
The virtual run allows participants to run any day and location, includes a digital bib, shirt, finisher medal, and shipped packet; packet shipping is scheduled the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos starting the day of the event. The Volunteer Then Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and permits running any distance afterward. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval to participate.
