St. Patrick-Themed Running Event in Columbus
The Time to Paddy running event takes place at Smith Farm Park in Columbus, Ohio. This themed race offers a variety of distances for participants to choose from, including:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 mile
- Kid's Dash
The event features chip-timing for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon distances, with live results and awards provided. The 1 mile run and the Kid's Dash, which is reserved for participants aged 10 and under, are untimed. Those participating in the 5k, 10k, or Half Marathon receive a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. Participants in the 1 mile and Kid's Dash also receive a shirt and a specific event medal.
Group participation is encouraged through a team registration system. Teams can qualify for discounted pricing and compete for the award given to the largest group. Specifically, when a team reaches 5 members, participants receive a $5 refund, and at 10 members, a $10 refund is issued. Post-race activities include food and free photos. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person, where participants can run their chosen distance independently and receive their materials via mail.
