Event details
The Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on June 6 and 7, 2026, in Government Camp, Oregon. The event includes the following distances:

Registration for 2026 opens on August 1, 2025. Early pricing is listed and increases after February 28, 2026. Finisher medals and gender-specific technical shirts are included with registration.
Course and location
The course circles Timothy Lake on single-track trails and begins at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station. The site is at about 3,227 feet in the high Cascades and includes views of Mt. Hood across the lake. The route crosses three rustic bridges over tributaries that feed the lake.
Entries and teams
Teams consist of four or more members who register under the same team name. A $5 entry fee refund is issued to each team member once the fourth person registers; additional members also receive $5 off the current list price. Teams with four or more members that register on or before May 1, 2026, receive custom bibs with the team name. Team members must register for an event held on the same day; on Saturday each member may choose either the marathon or the half marathon.
