Timberline Marathon
The Timberline Marathon is a trail running event held at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station in Oregon. The courses are located within the Cascade Mountains and revolve around Timothy Lake. Participants navigate a route that consists primarily of single-track forest trails.
The event features several distance options held over two days:
- 25.2 Miles (Saturday)
- 14 Miles (Saturday)
- 14 Miles (Sunday)
The terrain includes rustic bridge crossings and provides views of Mt. Hood. The half marathon distance has a required completion time of 4.5 hours. All distances are classified as trail races, taking place in a forested environment. Registration for all event categories typically opens in early August of the preceding year.
