Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon
The Timberline Marathon and Half Marathon takes place on June 6 and 7, 2026, at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station near Timothy Lake in Government Camp, Oregon. The event programme includes a marathon on Saturday and half marathon races on both Saturday and Sunday.
The course fully circles Timothy Lake on single track trails at about 3,227 feet in the high Cascades. Runners follow trails that pass three rustic bridges over tributaries that feed the lake and offer views of Mt. Hood across the water. Finisher medals and gender specific technical shirts are included with registration.
The event offers team registration for groups of four or more. Teams receive a $5 entry fee refund per member once the fourth person registers, and additional members receive the same $5 discount. Teams with four or more members who register on or before May 1, 2026 will receive custom bibs showing the team name. Team members must register for an event held on the same day; on Saturday each member may choose either the marathon or the half marathon. Registration for 2026 opens on August 1, 2025.
