Los Alamos NJROTC Extreme 5K and Fun Run
Los Alamos High School NJROTC holds its third annual run in September 2026 to raise awareness and support prevention of veteran suicide and to benefit Mission 22. The event takes place at Sullivan Field, 4000 University Dr., Los Alamos, NM 87544, during the weekend of September 11 to September 13, 2026. The course for the in-person 5K is an out and back route. Walkers may take part in the 5K.
Distances and event formats include:
- 5K in person
- 1 mile Fun Run
- 5K virtual option
Registration details and event items: in-person 5K registration opens June 29, 2026 and closes August 23, 2026 with a listed fee of $40. The Fun Run registration opens June 29, 2026 and closes August 23, 2026 with a listed fee of $25. The Virtual 5K registration opens June 28, 2026 and closes August 22, 2026 with a listed fee of $40. The in-person 5K and the virtual 5K include a run tee and a swag bag; the Fun Run includes an event tee. Virtual event items will be mailed within the first week of October.
