Tierrasanta Monster Dash 5K
The Tierrasanta Monster Dash is a Halloween-themed 5K and 5K fun run/walk held on October 31, 2026 at the Tierrasanta Recreation Center, 11220 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92124. The event offers a chip timed competitive 5K alongside a separate fun run/walk option.
Event services and amenities include long sleeved T-shirts and finisher medals for participants; children age 10 and under register for free and are excluded from those items. A Kids Zone will feature bounce houses, Halloween candy, and face painting. There will be costume judging during the event. An adult beer garden open to participants aged 21 and over will offer craft beers.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race day, and limited day of registration is offered. Parking is available at the Recreation Center, the Community Pool, and the Lutheran Church. Participants are required to sign a waiver.
The event is organized around a community Halloween theme and combines a timed race option with family oriented activities.
