About the race
The Thunderbird Hockey Fun Run takes place on September 19, 2026 at the Thunderbird Youth Hockey rink in Pierce Park, 1100 Walnut St, Baraboo, WI. The event features a short children’s run and a 5K run or walk, followed by a pancake breakfast with a discount for run and walk participants.
Distances:
- 1/4 mile (0.25 Miles) kids run for ages 12 and under
- 5K (3.1 Miles) run or walk
The kids run has a registration fee of $15 and the 5K has a registration fee of $35. The kids run fee includes a t shirt and a free wristband to Knuckleheads Trampoline Park; all youth 18 and under will receive a free pass to Knuckleheads. T shirts are included for orders placed before September 7, 2026.
Awards are given for top finishers: trophies for first place male and female in the kids race, and medals for first and second place male and female in each 5K age category. Age categories for the 5K are 18 and under, 19 to 34, 35 to 49, and 50 and over.
