About the race
Thunderbird Hockey Fun Run takes place at the Thunderbird Youth Hockey rink in Pierce Park, 1100 Walnut St, Baraboo, WI. The event is scheduled for September 19, 2026, and includes a short kids race and a 5K run or walk.
Distances offered:
- 0.25 Miles for a kids fun run
- 3.1 Miles for the 5K run or walk
Registration opens June 15, 2026, and closes September 18, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer include a fee for the kids run and a fee for the 5K. T-shirts are included if ordered before August 31, 2026. The kids run fee also includes a wristband to Knuckleheads Trampoline Park.
Awards are given for top finishers. The kids fun run awards a trophy to first place male and female. The 5K awards medals to first and second place male and female in each age category.
A pancake breakfast will follow the races; participants receive a discount for the breakfast. All proceeds from the event support Thunderbird Youth Hockey. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
