Thunder Mountain Duathlon
The Thunder Mountain Duathlon has returned after a previous edition known as the 2-10-2 Duathlon. It is a multi-sport event consisting of run, bike and run segments. Participants may compete individually or as part of a two-person team.
The event is based at Brock Field in the historic section of Fort Huachuca, located at Brock Field Complex, Fort Huachuca, AZ 85613. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Barnes Field House on 24 April 2026. Bicycle rentals are available through MWR Rents.
Registration options include online and in-person entry. Online registration closes on 22 April 2026 and in-person registration ends at 6pm. The first 50 registered participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
The event takes place on the installation and requires an installation access pass obtained at the visitor center located at Van Deman Gate. Visitor center hours are Monday through Friday. Competition categories include male individual, female individual, and two-person teams in male, female and co-ed divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
