Thunder Mountain Duathlon
The Thunder Mountain Duathlon is a run-bike-run event held at Brock Field in the historic section of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The course covers a total of 14 miles and returns after a previous break; it has previously been run as a 2-10-2 format.
Participants may enter as individuals or as part of two-person teams. The event offers the following entry categories: male individual, female individual, two-person male team, two-person female team, and two-person co-ed team. The first 50 registered participants receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Barnes Field House on April 24, 2026. Bicycle rentals are available through MWR Rents. Because the event takes place on the installation, attendees must obtain an installation access pass at the visitor center located at Van Deman Gate before entering Fort Huachuca.
