Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon
Thruxton Mass Attack Duathlon takes place on 4 October 2026 at Thruxton Race Circuit near Andover, Hampshire. The event uses a wide, smooth tarmac motor circuit and includes spectator viewing areas, a cafe, race commentary, music and a live Facebook feed.
The event offers two race formats on the circuit and is listed as a GB 2027 World Duathlon Age Group qualifier for both sprint and standard distances. The sprint race is draft legal and does not permit time trial bikes; the standard race is non-drafting and allows time trial bikes. Athletes who wish to qualify for the GB age group team must register their intent with British Triathlon before 5pm on the Friday before the race (02.10.2026).
Distances:
- Standard: 11.4 km run (3 laps), 38 km bike (10 laps), 3.8 km run (1 lap)
- Sprint: 3.8 km run (1 lap), 19 km bike (5 laps), 3.8 km run (1 lap)
Entry details in the event information show standard entry prices of £65 for sprint and £75 for standard. Age eligibility is specified as 15 and over for the sprint and 17 and over for the standard on 31 December 2026. Overnight motorhome parking is available by pre-booking and free parking is provided within the motor circuit; gates are locked overnight between 20:00 and 06:00. The organiser requests that athletes observe a code of conduct and notes that marshalling opportunities are available, with volunteers receiving a credit voucher.
