Thousand Islands Triathlon & Runs
The event takes place in Brockville and includes multiple triathlon and road race options. The run course passes through an historic railway tunnel; the tunnel is 500 metres long and features music, lighting, and shade as part of the course.
Main race options include:
- Olympic Triathlon: Swim 1500m, Bike 40km, Run 10km
- Olympic Swim Cycle: Swim 1500m, Bike 40km
- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750m, Bike 20km, Run 5km
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5km, Bike 20km, Run 2.5km
- 10K Run: Run 10km
- 5K Run: Run 5km
- Try a Tri (16+): Swim 200m, Bike 20km, Run 2.5km
Registration includes a personalized race bib, a swim cap, a free virtual bike fit, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, post-race snacks, and podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in each event. The bike course is open to traffic and participants must follow the rules of the road. Bib pickup is at Centeen Park, 85 Water St E, Brockville, ON K6V 1A6, on the day before and the day of the event.
Important deadlines: shirt orders before July 3, medal orders before July 11, online registration (if not sold out) until August 6 at 18:00. Refunds are available only if cancellation insurance was purchased. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
