Thetford 24 hour - Brandon
The event is a non stop timed run held on the Backyard route at High Lodge Thetford Forest. Participants may run for 6, 12 or 24 hours on a route described as flat and scenic. Entries are open for Solo runners, pairs or teams of up to four runners. Only full laps count toward a competitor's total.
- 6 hour event: Solo, Pair, Team categories
- 12 hour event: Solo, Pair, Team categories
- 24 hour event: Solo, Pair, Team categories
Entries are limited to 150 Solo, Pair or Team entries in total. All participants must be 18 or older. The event provides a basic food tent with hot and cold drinks and snacks, and vendors are available a short walk away at High Lodge. Portable toilets will be on site and additional toilets are nearby.
Camping is allowed on site and free on Saturday night; runners may bring a small tent and pairs or teams may use a gazebo. There is no power on site so participants should bring powerbanks. No stoves or fires are allowed. Crew numbers are limited to one person per solo runner and two per pair or team.
Race rules include one runner on course at any time, chip handovers only in the transition area, no supporters on the course, and visible race numbers. Trophies are awarded to winners in each category and every participant receives a bespoke wooden medal.
