14th Annual Theresa Borgia 5K Run/Walk & Children's Fun Run
The 14th Annual Theresa Borgia 5K Run/Walk takes place along the Lackawanna Heritage Trail on Olive Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania. This community event honors the memory of a long-time volunteer and advocate for breast cancer awareness while supporting the Chronic Disease and Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA at the JCC.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Children's Fun Run for ages 12 and under
The 5K course utilizes the local trail system, and the first 100 individuals to register for the event receive a commemorative T-shirt. The Children's Fun Run is a complimentary event for younger participants and includes a participant medal for those who complete it.
Registration for the event is available online through the Wednesday preceding the race. On-site registration is also conducted at the trail location on the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
