Thelma and Louise Marathon, Half Marathon, 15K and 50K
The event is a women's focused trail race held in the Behind the Rocks area near Moab, Utah on April 25, 2026. It includes the following distances:

- 50K
Courses run through remote desert terrain with a mix of dirt road, slickrock, sandy washes, technical doubletrack, and smooth jeep trails. Runners can expect views of Lone Rock, the maze of fins in the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Area, and the La Sal Mountains. Course elevations range from about 4,516 ft to 5,727 ft depending on distance, with notable elevation gain on the longer routes.
Aid stations operate as part of a cup-less event. Water dispensers will be located at the start/finish area and at every aid station so runners may refill reusable cups, bottles, or hydration bladders. The event requires a timing chip to be attached to the shoe for a recorded time.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the start/finish location; event rules require a photo ID to receive a packet. Entries are non-transferable, bibs may not be picked up for another runner, and goody bags or shirts may be collected for an absent registrant. Free camping is offered at the Mad Moose Base Camp near the event site. Post-race refreshments and a variety of food will be provided at the finish line.
