Thelma and Louise Marathon, Half Marathon, 15K and 50K
Thelma and Louise is a women's focused trail race weekend held in the Behind the Rocks area near Moab, Utah. The event offers multiple off-road distances that run through desert terrain and feature views of Lone Rock, the fins of the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Area, and the La Sal Mountains.
Courses combine dirt road, slickrock, technical doubletrack, smooth jeep trails, and sandy washes. The site is remote and accessed via a technical dirt road that is generally passable for 2WD vehicles. The event operates as a cup-less race; runners should plan to use reusable cups, bladders, or bottles as water dispensers are available at the start and finish and at every aid station. Aid station charts include mileage, cutoff times, and course limit information.
