The YEG Traverse 2026

The YEG Traverse is a trail race event located in Edmonton, Alberta, that takes participants through the city's river valley. The race features a unique "choose your own trail" format, allowing runners to navigate through the heart of the city. The course begins on the bridge underneath the Anthony Henday near Cameron Heights and travels through the entire river valley. The finish line is located on the bridge where the Anthony Henday crosses the river in the Northeast.

Participants can choose from the following registration options:

The YEG Traverse (Solo): A full-length event for individual runners.
The YEG Traverse (Duo): A team format for two participants featuring a transition area at the halfway point.
The Half Traverse: A solo option for those who wish to run only the second half of the course.

For those participating in the Half Traverse, the start is located at the aid station situated at River Valley Adventure Co. This event is organized by local runners and supported by local Edmonton establishments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
