The YEG Traverse 2026
The YEG Traverse is a trail race that traverses the heart of Edmonton. The route starts under the Anthony Henday bridge near Cameron Heights, goes through the entire river valley, and finishes under the Anthony Henday bridge in the northeast.
The event offers two participation formats. It can be completed solo or as a two-person team, with a transition area halfway through. A new option for 2026 is The YEG Half Traverse. This is for runners who wish to complete only the second half of the full course without a partner for the other half. The Half Traverse starts at the aid station at River Valley Adventure Co.
