The WMD Triathlon
The WMD Triathlon takes place in Weymouth on 14 June 2026 with race headquarters at Weymouth College, DT4 7SW. The event runs sprint, classic (standard) and middle distances within a single race framework and safety plan. It is organised by Bustinskin Events.
Distances
- Sprint : suitable for first time triathletes or those seeking a fast race
- Classic (Standard) : popular with club athletes and regular racers
- Middle : longer event with full course support and managed cut offs
The event features an open water sea swim with safety cover, fast rolling bike routes on Dorset roads, and a multi lap run with regular aid provision. Courses are marked and marshalled and official route maps are provided for planning, but athletes remain responsible for knowing the route on race day. Chip timing is used and official finishers receive a medal.
Registration and racking take place on race morning only; nothing is sent in advance and all race materials are collected at registration. Late registration is not accepted. Arrival information notes parking at Lodmoor Car Park on a pay and display basis and limited on site camping may be available. Cut off times are published in the Race Brief and athletes who miss a cut off will be withdrawn from the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
