The WMD Triathlon
The WMD Triathlon takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 at Weymouth College, Cranford Avenue, Weymouth. The event runs sprint, classic and middle distance races within a single event framework and safety plan, with chip timing and a finisher medal for all official finishers.
The event features an open water sea swim with safety cover, rolling bike routes on Dorset roads, and a multi-lap run with regular aid provision. Courses are marked and marshalled and there is visible safety and medical cover. A proper race headquarters provides space and facilities for competitors and straightforward logistics. Cut-off times are published and enforced for athlete safety.
Registration and racking take place on race morning only and all race materials are collected at registration. Competitors must read the official Race Brief, which forms part of the event rules and contains final instructions and cut-off details.
Arrival and parking use Lodmoor Car Park pay and display. Accommodation is available across Weymouth and limited on-site camping may be possible subject to college terms. Entries are capped across all distances and may close early; entry prices vary by distance. Open to entrants aged 18 and over on 31 December 2026.
