The Winter Games - Tyler
The Winter Games takes place on February 15, 2026, at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, TX. The event offers multiple race options and a virtual entry for remote participants.
The event distances include:
- Kid's Dash (short 100–200 meter sprint, free)
- 1 Mile (untimed; no age group awards)
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon
- Virtual Option
Registration for the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon and 1 Mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Participants are advised to register by 01/10 to guarantee t-shirt size. Finishers in select in-person events receive finisher medals. Age-group awards are offered for the 5K, 10K and Half-Marathon; age-group divisions are awarded four deep across male and female categories from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) classifications will receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event only; awards will not be shipped.
The 1 Mile is an untimed option that still receives a participation shirt and finisher medal but has no age-group awards. The virtual option includes shipment of the shirt and medal the week of the race. The race is gun timed; competitive runners are advised to line up toward the front and wear bibs visibly on the front of the body. Volunteer shifts are available and volunteers receive a code for a free race as a thank-you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
