Event overview
The Winter Challenge Off-Road Triathlon & Duathlon is scheduled for February 21, 2026, at Dome Farms in Springfield, South Carolina. The event includes a Triathlon, a Duathlon, a Triathlon Relay, and a Duathlon Relay. The Triathlon Relay can be a 2- or 3-person team; the Duathlon Relay is a 2-person team. The kayak segment is a flatwater course on a lake. Paddleboards are not allowed. Canoes or tandem boats are not recommended unless paddled solo. Kayak rentals are available from a local outfitter.
Location and logistics
The entrance to Dome Farms is between Springfield and Williston, SC, just past the intersection of Highway 39 and New Forest Road at the dirt driveway for Go Irish Lane. Camping is a common accommodation choice; nearby towns with hotels are roughly 30 to 40 minutes away. Typical race-day temperatures in February often start in the 30s and may warm into the 50s or 60s, but conditions can vary.
