Event overview
The Winter Challenge Off-Road Triathlon & Duathlon is set for February 21, 2026, at Dome Farms in Springfield, South Carolina. The event takes place on private farmland and uses off-road trails and a flatwater kayaking course. Events are open to ages 15 to 99.
Race formats and distances
- Triathlon: 7-mile trail run, 6-mile kayak, 10-mile mountain bike.
- Duathlon: 2.25-mile run, 10-mile bike, 4.75-mile run (same route segments as the triathlon).
- Triathlon Relay: 2- or 3-person team option on the triathlon course.
- Duathlon Relay: 2-person team option on the duathlon course.
Entry and fees
Standard entry fees listed are $95 for the individual Triathlon and Duathlon, and $85 for Triathlon and Duathlon relays. Fees are subject to change and may increase after early-registration deadlines.
Logistics and services
The kayak segment is flatwater on a lake; kayak rentals are available through a local outfitter. Camping is recommended and is a common accommodation option for participants.
