The Whole Enchilada at Trail Hub, Uxbridge
The Whole Enchilada is a trail running event at Trail Hub near Uxbridge, Ontario, scheduled for June 19, 2027. The event is organized by Trail Hub in partnership with Green Newton Adventures and is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Trail Hub is a 140-acre property with direct access to 8 km of on-site trails and is surrounded by approximately 6,000 acres of multi-use forest and over 240 km of regional trails. The venue includes amenities such as a farm-to-table restaurant and facilities for events.
Courses run through Durham Forest, Walker Woods, and Glen Major, featuring varied terrain with notable elevation gains, steep ascents and technical descents. The event provides well-marked trails, staffed aid stations supplying water, electrolytes and light food items, and support teams to monitor safety and course progress.
Practical and sustainability details include on-site parking, washroom facilities at the start/finish area, spectator viewing from the central site, cup-free event practices and low-impact waste management. The Hike Enchilada returns 50% of registration fees to local environmental initiatives and proceeds from the Kids Salsa are donated to Jumpstart Charities. Awards and draw prizes are distributed in person at the event.
