The Whole Enchilada
The Whole Enchilada takes place at Trail Hub, a 140 acre property near Uxbridge in Durham Region, Ontario. Trail Hub provides direct access to 8 km of on‑site trails and sits within a larger multi use forest area of about 6,000 acres and over 240 km of additional trails. The venue includes event facilities and on‑site dining.
Green Newton Adventures organizes the event with a focus on nature connection and low impact practices. Course terrain includes sections through Durham Forest, Walker Woods and Glen Major, featuring notable elevation gains, steep ascents and technical descents across forested and meadow landscapes.
Event options include multiple distances and formats:
- 50 km The Whole Enchilada
- 25 km The Half Enchilada
- 8 km The Mini Enchilada
- 4 km The Hike Enchilada
- 4 km Kids Enchilada
- 1 km Kids Salsa
Trails are well marked and supported by stocked aid stations and support teams. Environmental measures include eco friendly materials, waste management practices, and a cup free policy requiring participants to bring reusable containers. Fifty percent of Hike Enchilada registration fees are donated to local environmental initiatives. On site parking is available but limited. Prohibited items on course include dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles. Toilet facilities and spectator viewing areas are provided at the start and finish.
