The Water Run 2026, Medicine Hat
The Water Run takes place on October 10, 2026 at The Veiner Centre, 225 Woodman Ave SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta. The event is run in partnership with Nehemiah Construction Ministries to raise funds for clean water projects for the Turkana people of Kenya. The fundraising goal is listed as CA$50,000 with CA$105.25 raised so far; 23 participants are listed.
The event offers in-person and virtual options with multiple distances:
- 3 km for youth and adults
- 5 km for youth and adults
- 10 km for youth and adults
Registration pricing is tiered by period. Example fees shown include adult rates of CA$40 (early), CA$50 (regular) and CA$60 (last minute), and youth rates of CA$20, CA$30 and CA$40. Entry includes a Water Run shirt, a medal, a swag bag and a race bib with RacePro chip timing for in-person participants. Bottled water, food and snacks are available at the finish area.
Virtual participants are self-timed and are asked to use the Runkeeper app to record and upload results.
