The Water Run 2026 - Medicine Hat
The Water Run 2026 takes place in Medicine Hat, Alberta, at the Veiner Centre (225 Woodman Ave SE) on October 10, 2026. The event offers both an in-person race and a virtual option; virtual participants must use an app to track and submit results.
The event is run in partnership with Nehemiah Construction Ministries to raise funds to bring clean water to the Turkana people of Kenya. Fundraising figures shown are CA$105.25 raised toward a CA$50,000.00 goal. Prizes are awarded to top fundraisers as well as top finishers.
Multiple registration categories are available for youth and adults, with matching virtual categories. Entry fee tiers are listed for early bird, regular, and last minute registration; example ranges shown include Adult fees from CA$40 to CA$60 and Youth fees from CA$20 to CA$40 depending on the registration period. In-person entry includes a Water Run shirt, medal, swag bag, and a race bib with RacePro chip timing.
