The Water Run 2026 : Medicine Hat
The Water Run 2026 takes place on October 10, 2026 at the Veiner Centre, 225 Woodman Ave SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta. The event partners with Nehemiah Construction Ministries to raise funds to bring clean water to the Turkana people of Kenya.

Entry includes a Water Run shirt, a medal, a swag bag, and a race bib with RacePro chip timing for in-person participants. Virtual participants are asked to use the Runkeeper app to track and upload results. Post-race bottled water, food, and snacks are provided. Prizes are awarded to the top two male and female finishers in the 5 km and 10 km, and additional prizes go to top pledge earners for adults and kids.
Registration uses tiered pricing with early bird, regular, and last-minute rates; fees differ for adults and youth. The fundraising goal is CA$50,000 and the amount raised so far is CA$310.50.
