The Vitruvian Triathlon 2026
The Vitruvian Triathlon takes place at Rutland Watersports in the United Kingdom on 13 September 2026. The event uses a sheltered swim course, a loop bike course around Rutland Water described as fast and scenic, and a scenic run route. The site includes event facilities and free parking.
The event offers multiple entry types including standard triathlon, aquabike, relay entries and an Inter Services Championship. It is presented as an athlete focused race that welcomes a range of age group competitors. The minimum age on race day is 18 years. Non BTF members must either hold a valid BTF licence or purchase a day licence.
Race services include a personalised race pack with race number and timing chip, on course hydration and nutrition, feed stations, comprehensive medical support, and an athlete Help Desk on race day. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal and prizes are awarded for the top three in each age group and category. Entrants may transfer their place to another athlete within the stated terms and conditions, and transfers to 2027 are allowed subject to those terms.
