Village Zombie Run 5
Village Zombie Run 5 takes place on October 24, 2026, in the Village of East Davenport, Iowa. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1/4 mile Kids Run
- 1/2 mile Kids Run
The main event is a timed, point to point family 5K. The course begins at Duck Creek Park next to the tennis courts and follows the Duck Creek Bike Path west toward Jersey Ridge. Runners continue up Belle Avenue past Oakdale Cemetery, pass a hydration station, turn onto Elm Street, and finish with a downhill stretch on Jersey Ridge into the heart of the Village of East Davenport.
The kids program starts on 11th Street in the Village and is followed by trick-or-treating in the Village. Free shuttle buses run from Kelso's Corner to the start line; participants are encouraged to park near the finish and use the shuttle. Packet pick up is available at Ameriprise Financial and Kelso's Corner, with additional race day pickup at Kelso's Corner.
Runners who register by October 16 receive a limited edition long sleeve Village Zombie Run shirt made locally by GT Sports. A portion of event proceeds benefits Trinity Health Foundation's 3 D Breast Cancer Screening Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
