The Village Zombie Run - 5th Annual
The Village Zombie Run is a family 5K and trick-or-treat event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Davenport, Iowa, presented by Lagomarcino’s. The main event is a point-to-point, timed downhill 5K that begins at Duck Creek Park near the tennis courts and finishes in the Village of East Davenport. The course passes Belle Avenue, a spooky stretch of Elm Street, and Jersey Ridge.
The event includes kids runs in two short distances and a costume contest with cash prizes held at Kelso’s Corner after the race. Shuttle buses from the Village of East Davenport to the Duck Creek Park start are included with registration.
Packet pick-up is available at two locations before the event and a late pick-up at Kelso’s Corner on the event day:
- Evanovich, Blessing & Associates, 5001 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport, IA, Thursday, October 22, 5–7 pm
- Kelso’s Corner, 1117 Mound St, Davenport, IA, Friday, October 23, 3–7 pm
- Late packet pick-up at Kelso’s Corner on Saturday
Runners who sign up by October 16 will receive a limited-edition long sleeve race shirt at packet pick-up; the shirt deadline is October 17. Top finishers will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Participating Village of East Davenport shops will offer candy for children, and Lagomarcino’s will host a caramel apple station for purchase at the kids run finish. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the 3D breast cancer screening fund through Trinity Health Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
