The Vent Haven 2026 Dummy Run
The event is a timed 5K run/walk managed through GHC Timing with both in person and virtual participation options. The in person entry includes a t-shirt, race bib, and an opportunity to view new exhibits at Vent Haven Museum.
The course is described as mostly flat. It starts and finishes at Vent Haven Museum on West Maple Avenue behind the Mercedes dealership in Fort Mitchell. The Start/Finish Line is sponsored by Central Bank. Course maps are available.
A virtual option allows participants to complete the 5K at their chosen time and place; the museum will mail the t-shirt approximately two weeks after the race. Virtual registration includes shipping.
Age group prizes include medals and a $30 cash award for winners in each age group. Age groups are 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Prizes will be given to the top male and top female in each group.
Packet pick up is available at Vent Haven Museum on the days immediately before the race and on race day. Parking is available at Central Bank, Youthland Academy, and Fort Mitchell Public House. No on street parking is allowed on West Maple Avenue, Fort Mitchell Avenue, West Orchard, Ridge Road, or Krumpelman. Two restrooms will be available on site.
