The Vent Haven Dummy Run 5K Run/Walk
The Vent Haven 2026 Dummy Run is a timed event managed by GHC Timing. The 5K course is described as mostly flat and permits both running and walking. The course starts and finishes at Vent Haven Museum on West Maple Avenue, behind the Mercedes dealership in Fort Mitchell. The Start/Finish line is sponsored by Central Bank.
In-person registration is listed at $35 and includes a t-shirt, race bib, and an opportunity to view new exhibits at Vent Haven Museum. A virtual option is available for $40 to include shipping; the museum will mail the t-shirt two weeks after the race.
Age group prizes will be awarded to the top male and top female in each category. Winners receive a medal and $30. Age groups are 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at Vent Haven Museum on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28. Course maps will be available. Parking is available at Central Bank, Youthland Academy, and Fort Mitchell Public House; on-street parking is not allowed on West Maple Avenue, Fort Mitchell Avenue, West Orchard, Ridge Road, or Krumpelman.
