Event overview
The Ultra Loop is an 8-hour looped running event hosted by Resolute Running at Delamere Forest, Frodsham, WA6 6NB, Cheshire, UK. Within the 8-hour limit, participants run as many loops of the course as they can. Entry fee is £34 and the event date is 18 October 2026. Entrants receive a confirmation email and further event information after they register.
Course and format
The looped route is 6.02 km per lap and mixes gravel paths and light forest trails. The course includes a climb to Old Pale Viewpoint, passes around Blackmere Lake, and returns to the start area. The route is not on a closed course, so runners may encounter walkers and dog walkers. Trail shoes are recommended.
Facilities and rules
The start/finish area forms the event village, aid station, and spectator/crew zone. The singular aid station supplies water, fruit, sweet and savoury snacks, energy bars, and electrolytes from the event sponsor. Participants are asked to use their own bottles; cups will not be provided. Personal bags can be left with event staff for access during the day.
Children under 12 are not permitted. Entrants aged 12 to 15 must have a parent or guardian contact the organiser and that adult must attend the event with the minor.
