The Twisted Turkey Trot 5K - Quitman
The Twisted Turkey Trot is a themed 5K running event in Quitman, Texas on November 13, 2026. The event blends a turkey theme with Friday the 13th motifs and includes costume elements such as turkey suits, unusual accessories, and references to black cats and feathers.
Race entries are available in two registration periods. Early registration through October 30 charges $35 for adults and children over 10 and includes a finisher medal, an event T-shirt, and race swag. Early rates for children 10 and under are $10 and include a finisher medal. Dog entries during the early period are $10 and include a finisher medal and a Kiwanis collar bandana. Late registration from November 1 through event start increases the adult and over-10 fee to $45 and includes the finisher medal only; shirts and swag are only guaranteed with early registration.
A combined registration option is offered for participation in both the Twisted Turkey Trot and the Santa Run; when registered by October 30, that combined adult and over-10 fee is $60 and covers two medals and two shirts.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, November 12 at two locations in Quitman: Honor Coffee Co. from 8:00 to 11:00 AM, and Rockin S & S Grill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
