Event
The Tater-Tot Trot takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Rose Rudman Park, 450 Shiloh Rd., Tyler, TX 75703. The event program includes multiple race options and a free Kid's Dash. Distances and options:
- Kid's Dash - short 100–200-meter sprint, free.
- 5K - timed race with age group awards.
- 1 Mile - untimed; no age group awards.
- Virtual Option - shirt and medal shipped to participants.
Registration, awards and extras
Entry prices listed on the event page include a $30 fee for the 5K, $15 for the 1 Mile, and $40 for the Virtual Option. The 5K and 1 Mile entries include an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. The Kid's Dash is free; dashers may add a t-shirt or finisher medal as an optional purchase.
Age group awards for the 5K are given four deep in male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall and masters categories receive platinum medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped; there is no formal award ceremony. Volunteers are offered a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
