The Turkey Trot : Winnipeg
RALLY x City Park Runners present The Turkey Trot, an untimed 5K fun run on October 12, 2026. The event is based at Cargo Bar in Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The course is a 5K route through Assiniboine Park. The event is explicitly non-competitive: there is no chip timing, no podiums and no pace requirement. Leaders and sweepers will be on course to support participants and ensure no one is left behind.
Registration includes a commemorative race bib, a finisher medal, an event-branded toque, a turkey sandwich provided by the Manitoba Turkey Association, one post-run drink from Cargo Bar (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), a post-run s'mores station, an outdoor DJ after-party, prizes and games, and patio community time.
There are registration categories including a standard 5 km entry and a no-medal 5 km option; availability varies by category. Event-day check-in, bib pickup and additional participant information are managed by the organizer and will be communicated to registered participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
