The Trojan 5K

The Trojan 5K is a timed running event held rain or shine on October 3, 2026, in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. It is an inaugural fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting the Soddy Daisy High School Track and Cross Country teams. The event is based at the Fire Hall next to Municipal Park at 11651 Dayton Pike, with nearby parking and park facilities.

Distances offered:

• 5K timed race, fundraising event for the school teams.
• 1 mile (Timed) shorter timed event.

Registration and fees are organized by event: 5K registration opens July 20, 2026 and closes October 2, 2026, with a listed fee of $30.00; the 1-mile registration opens September 14, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026, with a listed fee of $10.00. Registration increases by $5 on the day of the event. Packet pickup is scheduled at David Casteel State Farm at 9217 Dayton Pike on the Thursday and Friday before the race.

Event details note that walking is welcome for participants, including dogs and strollers; walkers will not be timed. Restroom facilities are available in the park and there is shade near the course. The first 50 registrants receive a complimentary event t-shirt; additional shirts will be available for purchase with a portion of the sales supporting the teams.
