The Treggy 7

The Treggy 7 is a 7 mile circular road race in Launceston, Cornwall, held on 6 September 2026. The route starts in Launceston Town Square and finishes in the grounds of Launceston Castle. Registration takes place beforehand in the Town Hall.

The course heads downhill for the first mile out of town and continues on undulating rural roads. After a half mile climb into Tregadillett village there is a water station at about 3.5 miles adjacent to Tregadillett Primary School. After leaving the village at 4 miles the final 3 miles are mainly downhill, with a second water station at approximately 5.5 miles before the finish in the castle grounds.

Cakes and hot drinks are available in the Town Hall before and after the race. Toilets are available in the Town Hall, the Multi-Storey Car Park and in the Castle Grounds at the finish. Awards take place in the Town Hall after the race. A bag drop will be provided with point details to be confirmed.

Entries open on 12 April 2026 and close on 1 September 2026. The minimum age is 16 or older. Entry fees are UKA Member £18.00 and Non Member £20.00. The event is organised by Launceston Road Runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
