The Treggy 7
The Treggy 7 is a seven mile circular road race that starts in Launceston Town Square with registration in the Town Hall beforehand. The course leaves the town on a downhill first mile and continues on undulating rural roads.
A half mile climb leads to the village of Tregadillett, where the first water station is located at approximately 3.5 miles, adjacent to Tregadillett Primary School. After leaving the village at 4 miles, the final three miles are mainly downhill. A second water station is situated at about 5.5 miles, and the finish line is in the grounds of Launceston Castle.
Cakes and hot drinks are available in the Town Hall both before and after the race. Toilet facilities are provided in the Town Hall, the Multi-Storey Car Park and the Castle Grounds. A bag drop point is planned but details are to be confirmed.
The event lists local sponsors including Abs-Solute Health & Fitness and Henwood Electrical Services Ltd. Results from previous years are published by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
