The Treggy 7
The Treggy 7 is a 7 mile circular road race in Launceston, Cornwall. The course starts in Launceston Town Square and finishes in the grounds of Launceston Castle. Registration takes place beforehand in Launceston Town Hall. The event is organised by Launceston Road Runners.
The route leaves town with the first mile downhill onto undulating rural roads. A half mile climb leads to the village of Tregadillett and the first water station is located at approximately 3.5 miles adjacent to Tregadillett Primary School. After leaving the village at around 4 miles the final 3 miles are mainly downhill, with a second water station at approximately 5.5 miles before the finish in the castle grounds.
Practical information includes on-site facilities and post-race arrangements. Cakes and hot drinks are available in the Town Hall before and after the race. Toilets are available in the Town Hall, the Multi-Storey Car Park and in the Castle Grounds at the finish. Awards are presented in the Town Hall after the race. A bag drop will be provided with details to be confirmed.
Entry is open to participants aged 16 or older. Entries open on 12 April 2026 and close on 1 September 2026. Entry fees are listed for UKA members and non members. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
