The Thornthwaite Round

The Thornthwaite Round is a 15.6km (9.7 miles) fell and trail running event held near Keswick, starting and finishing at Thornthwaite Church. The course features 870m of ascent over forest tracks, flagged paths, and open fell, passing through checkpoints at Lord’s Seat, Broom Fell, Brown How, Whinlatter, and Seat How. The marked route offers a mix of fast running on forest trails and grassy ridges, including a steep descent.
