Sussex Beer Mile
The Sussex Beer Mile is a trail beer mile set for 25 July 2026 at a new venue with a licensed bar. The event is held on a grass track and follows traditional beer mile rules of one beer per lap for four laps.
Rules for the event specify a 400 metre track and the use of a 335 ml bottle or can with at least 5% alcohol by volume. An official referee will oversee adherence to the beer mile rules.
A team option is available in which each team member completes one lap and one beer, with a cup awarded to the best team who will be crowned the Beer Kings of Sussex. Entry details are listed as £15 for individual entry and £25 for a team.
Car parking, registration and the race start are all located in Ferring nr Worthing. There are no changing facilities, so participants should arrive dressed ready to run.
