Events
Three events are offered:
- 5K Run/Walk: Registration for this event costs $37. The price increases after April 22, 2026.
- Kids Fun Run: Registration for this event costs $12. The price increases after June 7, 2026.
- Virtual 5K: Registration for this event costs $46. Registration ends on July 11, 2026.
Hosts and Inclusions
The event is hosted by Wichita Running Company and Fartleks. Fartleks is described as a local running shop and smoothie stop.
All participants receive a finisher's medal and a pair of sunglasses. Participants in the 5K receive a pair of Goodr brand sunglasses. Participants in the 5K and Kids Fun Run have the option to add an event shirt for an additional $8.
Awards and Logistics
Awards are given to the fastest overall male and female finishers, the fastest masters (age 40 and over) male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups. The age groups range from 14 and under to 80 and over.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, June 27, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Fartlek's Running and Smoothie Shop, located at the race address. Packets for others can be picked up. Any remaining packets can be collected on race morning starting at 7:00 AM at the race site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
