Race Overview
The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place in Granger, Iowa, at Jester Park. This event consists of a 100% trail course featuring small rolling hills and flat stretches. The 50K, 50 Miler, and 100 Miler distances are UTMB index races. The event is held at the Jester Park Equestrian Center and utilizes a 10-mile loop format.
Course Details
The course includes approximately 455 feet of elevation gain per loop. For those participating in the 100 Miler, the total ascent and descent over the full distance is 4,550 feet. Aid stations are located at mile 5 and at the start and finish area of the 10-mile loop. These stations provide basic nutrition such as pizza, rice and beans, potatoes, soda, Gatorade, and GU.

Participation Information
The event is a cupless race, meaning paper cups are not provided at aid stations. Participants must carry their own bottles, packs, or reusable cups. Registration includes a shirt and a finisher medal. For the 100 Miler, pacers are permitted starting at the 6th lap (mile 50). Multiple pacers may be used, but each must complete a full 10-mile loop. Dogs and bicycle pacers are not permitted on the course. Packet pickup is available at a local running store in Des Moines on the Thursday before the event or at the race site on the morning of the run.
