About the race
The Stuffed Turkey Endurance Races take place on November 21, 2026, at Jester Park Equestrian Center in Granger, Iowa (12130 NW 128th St.). This is the eighth running of the event and the course is entirely on trail with small rolling hills and a long flat section.
Distances offered:
- 10 Mile
- 50K
- 50 Mile
- 100 Mile
The 50K, 50 Mile, and 100 Mile races are listed as UTMB index races. The 100 Mile course uses repeated loops with about 455 feet of elevation gain per loop, totaling approximately 4,550 feet of ascent and descent over 100 mile.
Aid stations are located near mile 5 and the mile 10 start/finish area. The event is cupless; aid stations will not supply paper cups, so runners should carry a personal cup, bottle, or hydration pack. Basic aid station items include pizza, pop, rice and beans, potatoes, Gatorade, and GU, and runners are advised to bring any personal nutrition they require. A shirt and a medal are included with entry when available.
For the 100 Mile, pacers may join at the start of the sixth lap (mile 50). Each pacer must complete one 10 mile loop. Dogs, bicycle pacers, and other non-human assists are not permitted except by case by case approval for physical or mental handicaps.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Des Moines, 521 E Locust St, Des Moines, IA, and also on site before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
