About the race
The Stride 2026 is a community race day at the Littleton Museum, featuring a 5K run/walk, a Kids Fun Run for children 10 and under, and a Health and Wellness Expo. The event benefits the LPS Foundation and helps fund health and wellness programs, mental health resources, career development opportunities, and educator grants within Littleton Public Schools. Online registration closes on October 23, 2026; in-person registration is available at the Littleton Museum on race day. Early packet pickup is offered on October 23 at the Littleton Public Schools Education Service Center.
The event is nonrefundable. A virtual participation option is available and virtual participants receive a commemorative shirt that can be picked up at the LPS Foundation office. Race materials include timing-enabled bibs for 5K participants, long-sleeved shirts for adults and children, and commemorative bibs and finisher ribbons for Kids Fun Run participants. The 5K course passes through historic Littleton neighborhoods and runs near several LPS schools.
The Kids Fun Run is a loop around Ketring Park. Strollers are welcome and dogs are not permitted. Streets near the Littleton Museum will be impacted on race day; named streets include W Shepperd Ave, S Gallup St, and S Lakeview St. Donation options and fundraising support are organized through the LPS Foundation to help cover participation costs for students and to support foundation programs.
