The Stride 2026
The Stride 2026 takes place on October 25, 2026 at the Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup Street, Littleton, CO. Presented by McDonald Automotive, the event combines a community 5K, a Kids Fun Run, a Health and Wellness Expo, and a new 5K Wheelchair Division. Proceeds benefit Littleton Public Schools and support health and wellness programs, including mental health resources, career development, and educator grants.

Race logistics and amenities include disposable timing bibs for 5K participants, a long sleeve poly-rich shirt for adults, a long sleeve cotton shirt for youth (Youth Large only), and commemorative bibs and finisher ribbons for Kids Fun Run entrants. Virtual participants receive the event shirt and may pick it up from the LPS Foundation office within 14 days of the event. Shirts are ordered before registration closes; exact sizes are not guaranteed and swaps are not available.
The 5K course runs through historic Littleton neighborhoods near several LPS schools and features tree-lined streets and residential scenery. The Kids Fun Run is a loop around Ketring Park. Several streets around the Littleton Museum will be closed for participant safety; impacted streets include W Shepperd Ave, S Gallup St, and S Lakeview St.
The event offers $15,000 in Health and Wellness grants for LPS schools and programs, with awards for overall participation, increases in participation, school spirit, and pre-event marketing. Volunteer roles are required to support event operations. The LPS Foundation has raised $1,673.40 toward a $17,500 goal for this event.
