The Split
The Split is a running event in Spokane, Washington, centered at Riverfront Park at 570 N Howard St. Races take place along the Spokane River on the Centennial Trail. The course is described as fast and flat with an out-and-back layout and continuous waterfront views.
Available event distances and formats include:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles; in-person and early start options; registration fee $75.
- 10K - 10 kilometers; registration fee $50.
- 5K - fee $35; first 25 kids run free option available.
- Kids Fun Run - 0.44 miles; free entry.
- Virtual Run - virtual option; fee $45; online registration available through April 11, 2027.
Most in-person race registration opens August 1, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026. The Kids Fun Run and the free kids 5K option have later registration deadlines on the event day. The virtual race opens earlier on July 30, 2026 and remains open through April 11, 2027.
