The SoMa Main Street Mile
The SoMa Main Street Mile is the third annual one mile road race in the SoMa district of Little Rock, Arkansas, held on 06/05/2026. The event includes multiple one mile competitions for children, open divisions, and elite divisions. Entry fees are listed in the event information, with a modest fee for the Kids Mini Mile and higher fees for the open and elite heats.
Race divisions are defined by age and target pace. The Kid's Mini Mile is for ages 12 and under, with children 8 and under required to run with an accompanying adult. Open divisions accept athletes above specified pace thresholds, while the Elite divisions are restricted to athletes at or below the stated pace standards for each gender. The event has been selected as the RRCA Southern Region 1 Mile Championship for 2026.
The course is routed through the center of SoMa. It begins on South Main Street just past East 13th Street, proceeds south on Main, turns right onto West 17th Street, and left onto South Louisiana Street. Around the midpoint the route turns onto East Charles Bussey Avenue and returns to South Main Street for a final straight back to the Start/Finish arch.
