The Slothful Run
The Slothful Run is one day of the 7 Deadly Sins race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose from multiple distances and have a seven hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. Each lap on course measures 2.5k.

- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
The course is offroad and runs entirely within the manor grounds. The route includes a short hill on each lap and a sequence of ups and downs through two vineyards. The organiser describes the course as very tough. The event is suitable for walkers and runners, and entrants are responsible for ensuring they have the fitness and ability to complete the course safely.
There is a virtual option during January: virtual runners may complete their chosen distance on any day in the month, must do a minimum of 5k, and receive a personalised virtual bib. Paid entries receive medals; virtual and race medals are the same type. A free virtual entry option records results via the organiser’s Strava club but does not include a medal.
Practical details provided by the organiser include free parking, free tea and coffee, sandwiches and soup, and toilet facilities. Entry fees are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
