Event overview
The Slothful Run takes place on 12 January 2026 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event offers a choice of distances with a single time limit of seven hours to complete the chosen target. Each lap of the course measures 2.5 km.

Course, entry and services
The course is off-road within the grounds of Pengethley Manor and includes a hill and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The organiser describes the route as very tough and suited to walkers and runners.
Entry is available as an on-site race or a virtual option during January. Paid race entries are charged at £29.00. Virtual entry fees are listed as £25.00 (UK) and £39.00 (international). There is a charity entry option for £10.00 that requires a minimum fundraising commitment. All fees are non-refundable; entries may be deferred for a £15.00 fee up to four weeks before the event.
Race and virtual entries receive the same type of medal once a run is verified. Free participation via the organiser’s Strava club is recorded on results lists but does not include a medal.
