The Shannon Galbraith Memorial King Sandie Fun Run 2026
The event takes place in Madill, OK on June 6, 2026, with the meeting point at Wildcat Den at Madill High School. It offers multiple running events and awards across standard age groups.

Early registration for individual entries is $30 if received by June 5, with day-of-race entry at $35. The half marathon relay requires teams of four; if fewer than ten teams register the relay will not be held and those registered for the relay will be converted to the 5k entry. Age groups span from 10 and under up to 80 and over in decade increments.
Awards are given to the top male and female overall in each race and to the top three finishers in each age group. All race entrants receive The National Sand Bass Run T-shirt with their entry fee, though shirts or requested sizes are not guaranteed for day-of-race entries. The course is an out-and-back route that starts in front of Madill High School and is visibly marked. Proceeds support the Madill Cross Country program and student scholarships. Participants must be medically able to run, accept the inherent risks of the event, and follow directions from race officials; certain devices and animals are not allowed on course.
