The Scorpion Run
The Scorpion Run is a 10 May 2026 trail running event based at Symonds Yat Rock Cafe, Coleford, GL16 7NZ, in the Forest of Dean. The course is a 10k route that follows trails around Symonds Yat and the Wye Valley.
The route is described as undulating and offers views of the River Wye as it winds through the valley. Much of the course is off road with gravel firetracks for a large section; these sections are suitable for light trail shoes. The final 1 km of the course includes a steep climb to the finish.
Facilities at the start and finish include a log cabin where coffee and hot food are available. Parking is provided by Forestry pay and display and accepts card or app payments. Event materials include a Strava route and downloadable canicross rules and guidelines.
