The Scorpion Run
The Scorpion Run is a 10 km trail event based at Symonds Yat Rock Cafe in Coleford, in the Forest of Dean. The course is described as undulating and runs through the Wye Valley, providing views of the River Wye as it winds through the valley.
Most of the route is off road, with long sections on gravel firetracks suitable for light trail shoes. The final 1 km includes a large climb to the finish, which changes the character of the closing section of the course.
Facilities at the venue include a log cabin at the start and finish where coffee and hot food are available. Parking is Forestry pay and display with card or app payment accepted.
