The Schott Communities 5K Run, Walk, and Roll
Schott Communities, a private non-profit founded in 1986 to serve persons who are physically or intellectually challenged, organizes an event in Cooper City that includes in-person and virtual options. The event offers multiple course options and community-focused programming at the Schott Center, 6591 S. Flamingo Road, Cooper City FL 33330.

- Timed 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk and Roll
- Virtual 5K Run
Entry fees are tiered by date: an early bird rate, a regular rate, and a last chance rate on the event day. The first 500 registrants receive a shirt. Packet pick-up is available at the Schott Center on October 15 and on race day; other packet pick-up times are listed in event materials. The virtual 5K can be completed anywhere after registering.
Awards are presented by gender and age categories and include top three overall male and female, top three male and female masters, and top three in each age group for male and female participants.
