The Long Island Road Runners Club hosts the LIRRC Santa 5K on December 21, 2025 at Eisenhower Park - Parking Field #2, 1899 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a Kids Fun Run. The course is described as flat and fast within Eisenhower Park and is USATF certified (certificate ID NY17013JG). Participants are invited to bring unwrapped toys for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation toy drive.

Registration and race services
Registration pricing is listed with early bird and race-day rates; LIRRC members receive a reduced entry fee. Active military entry is free with military ID. Kids Fun Run entry is $1, collected at registration. Individual membership is $15 and family membership is $20; membership reduces the Santa 5K registration to $10. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Race services include bib pickup (personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks in advance), awards, refreshments, water, free raffles including a 50-50 raffle, and live online/email/text results with same-day finish-line photos and free video. Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups (12 & under through 80+).
