The Santa 5K
The Santa 5K is a community run hosted by the Long Island Road Runners Club on December 20, 2026 at Eisenhower Park - Parking Field 2 in East Meadow, New York. The event features a main 5K Run/Walk and a free Kids Fun Run.
The course is described as flat and fast and is USATF certified. Awards are given to the top overall man and woman and to the top three men and women in age groups that span from 12 and under up through 80 and over. Event amenities include a visit from Santa, an awards ceremony, refreshments, water, raffles and a 50 50 raffle.
Entry fees vary by registration option. Membership in the Long Island Road Runners Club reduces the race registration fee; individual and family membership levels are listed with their respective prices and membership affects the reduced race fee. Active military entrants are eligible for free entry with proof of military ID.
Bib pickup is handled by race staff at the event, and registrants who register in advance may receive a personalized bib if done three weeks before the race.
