About the race
The Run League Presents: Summerfest 5k & 10k is an inaugural running event on August 29, 2026, held at 265 Charles Dimmock Parkway, Colonial Heights, VA 23834, USA. The event offers timed races and virtual options for both distances and includes a custom Summerfest finisher medal and post-race refreshments.

Registration details vary by event. In-person registration for the 5K and 10K opens July 14, 2026 and closes August 27, 2026; the listed registration fees are $40 for the 5K and $55 for the 10K. Virtual race registration opens July 16, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026; virtual fees match the in-person fees. Registrations received by August 8, 2026 are guaranteed the official race shirt; registrations after that date may not include a shirt.
A portion of every race registration is directed to the University Preparatory College Fund. Additional donations made during registration also go to the same fund to support student access to college, career, and workforce opportunities.
