The Rifleman Run 5K - Run/Walk
The Rifleman Run is a community running event held in Center Moriches, New York on September 19, 2026. The event begins and ends at Victory Post 414 VFW on Main Street and features routes that pass neighborhood streets and areas near Moriches Bay.

- 100-yard Kids Fun Run
Entry fees are listed for each event. The first 100 registered participants will receive the 2026 Rifleman Run race T-shirt. All proceeds benefit Victory Post 414 and local veterans and military families in need.
Awards will be presented after the race at the VFW. Awards include top overall male and female, stroller division top male and female, and age group awards for the top three male and female in each listed age category: 14 and under; 15–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70–79; 80 and over.
Post-race activities at the VFW include refreshments, live music by Tiger Rose performing two full sets of The Jerry Garcia Band repertoire, a VFW cash bar, and beers from Blue Point Brewery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
