RailRun 5K
The RailRun 5K is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026, at RailYard Fenton, 234 N. Leroy Street, Fenton, MI 48430. The event uses chip timing and provides medals and giveaways for participants. The course starts and finishes at RailYard Fenton and passes through neighborhoods and the downtown business district before concluding at the RailYard outdoor patio area. A course map is provided.
Distances include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1/2 mile kids race
- 1/4 mile kids race
All participants receive a technical fabric race shirt, a bib with timing tag, and a custom RailYard medal. Amenities on site include Absopure water, Long Drink samples, yard games, music, and food and beverages for purchase from RailYard food cars. A post race patio party will follow the event.
Age group awards are offered to men and women in both the run and the competitive walk divisions, in general and masters categories, awarded in 5 year increments.
Packet pickup is available early on Friday, June 5, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at RailYard Fenton, and on race day from 8:30 to 10:45 am at the same location. Road closures will occur on the race course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
