The Polidor 5K Run/Walk
The Polidor 5K Run/Walk is held at St. Bartholomew School in Columbus, IN. The course is a certified 5K that runs through the Donner Park area. Ample on-site parking is available, and support volunteers are positioned at intersections. Check-in and same-day registration are available on the day of the event.
The event offers separate run and walk categories divided by age: participants 14 and under, and participants 15 and over. Registration fees are listed by category; younger participants have a lower fee. T-shirts are not included with race registration but may be purchased separately through a T-shirt registration option that is available until October 12. A separate fee applies for T-shirt registration.
The event raises funds for ALFA, an adult literacy program run by Friends of Haiti at St. Bartholomew Parish in partnership with the parishes of St. Anne and St. Isidore in Limonade, Haiti. This companion event supports Carnival-time literacy activities, and proceeds help provide basic class supplies and teacher stipends.
