Event overview
The Osprey Sprint Triathlon takes place on 12 April 2026 at The Osprey Leisure Centre, Portland, DT5 1BD. It is organised by Bustinskin Triathlon Club. The entry fee is £45. Entry is open to people aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. Entries close when the event reaches its limit.
Course and format
Distances:
- 300 m pool swim - 12 lengths, competitors start at individual times
- 15 km bike - route around Portland Island, visiting the Bill
- 5 km run - off road along Hamm Beach
Competitors are asked to enter an accurate swim time in hrs:min:sec format when registering to ensure correct individual start times. Registration takes place on the morning of the event; nothing is sent by post. Registration and transition open at 05:30 and close at 06:30. At registration competitors receive race materials.
Onsite facilities and notes
Legacy café will be open for drinks and snacks for spectators. Entries may be subject to a capacity limit. The organiser recommends considering event-related insurance due to the nature of the sport. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
