About the race
The One in the Park at Regent's Park in London features accurately measured 5k and 10k routes run wholly inside the park. The course uses tarmac pathways and is signed, marshalled and marked with kilometre markers.
- 10k: two laps on the park tarmac, age 15 and over
- 5k: one lap on the park tarmac, age 11 and over
The route passes park landmarks including ZSL London Zoo and the boating lake. Entries include a finisher medal, chip timing and refreshments. Entry fees are listed at £26 for individual entries.
Facilities at the event village, located just inside Chester Gate on Chester Road near The Broad Walk Cafe, include medical cover, a bag drop and park toilets. The toilets accept contactless payment and charge 20p. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. A water station is available each lap and water will be provided in cups. Event photography is expected to be available, usually within 24 hours.
Spectators are permitted around the start, finish and route. Personal dogs are not allowed except registered medical assistance dogs with prior approval. The event is suitable for wheelchair users and for participants with buggies or pushchairs, subject to prior contact for specialised equipment. Noise cancelling earphones are prohibited and other earphones should allow officials' instructions to be heard. Race deferrals are allowed until registration closes, subject to an administrative fee.
