The One in the Park - Hyde Park
The One in the Park takes place in Hyde Park, London, with races on traffic-free, flat park paths that pass the Serpentine Lake, monuments, rose gardens, meadows and wildfowl. The course layout is one loop for the 5k and two loops for the 10k.
Entry includes chip timing, a finisher medal and on-course refreshments. Race numbers can be collected at the event village registration tent on the morning of the event and detailed pre-race information is emailed to registered participants one week beforehand. On-the-day registration may be available.
The event village is at Hyde Park Bandstand, Hyde Park, London, W2 2UH. Entry fees listed are £26 per individual. Age guidance is provided for each distance.
Medical cover is provided at the event. A bag drop is available; the tear-off strip on the race number should be attached to items left with the service. Water is provided on the route at the lap point. Toilets are available near the start/finish area; Royal Parks charge 20p per use. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Event photography is normally available, usually within 24 hours.
Spectators are permitted in the start/finish area and around the route. Personal dogs are not allowed except registered medical assistance dogs with prior approval. The event is suitable for buggies, pushchairs, strollers and wheelchair users, with organisers asked to be contacted for specialised equipment. Noise-cancelling earphones are prohibited; other earphones are discouraged and should be used at a low volume. Race deferrals are allowed until registration closes, subject to an administration fee.
