The One in the Park - Hyde Park
The event takes place on September 6, 2026, in Hyde Park, London. The event village is located at Hyde Park Bandstand, W2 2UH. The course follows the park’s pathways alongside monuments, statues and the Serpentine Lake, passing rose gardens, meadows and areas with wildfowl.
Distances
- 10k - two loops; age 15+; entry fee £26
- 5k - one loop; age 11+; entry fee £26
The course is traffic-free and flat, with the 10k run consisting of two laps of the 5k route. Entries include a finisher medal, refreshments and chip timing. A tree is planted for every participant.
Facilities and services are provided at the event village. Medical cover is available. A bag drop is provided and bottles or bags left there should include the tear-off strip from the race number. Toilets will be available near the start and finish; Royal Parks charge 20p per use. There are no dedicated changing rooms or showers. Water is available on the route at the lap point. Event photography is expected to be published, usually within 24 hours.
Spectators are permitted in the start, finish and route areas. Privately owned dogs are not permitted during the event except registered medical assistance dogs with prior approval. The course is suitable for buggies and for wheelchair users but participants with specialised equipment should contact the organiser before entering. Noise cancelling earphones are prohibited and other earphones should be used at a low volume so officials can be heard.
