THE NUN RUN : overview
The Nun Run is a community running event and annual fundraiser hosted by the Poor Clares. The 17th edition is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Kiwanis Park North Field in Tempe, Arizona. The event offers multiple distance options and uses disposable RFID chip timing for results. Participants receive a race number with the timing chip on the reverse side; race numbers should be pinned to the front of the shirt.

Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in age categories ranging from 0-4 up to 90+. A T-shirt-only option is available; shirts are mailed the week of March 9. The event publishes a tiered registration fee schedule leading up to race day, with a Race Day registration fee listed. Children 18 and under have a reduced pre-race fee and a different race day fee. Packet pick-up, race day registration, and a Poor Clare booth with a raffle are part of the event.
