The Next Loop Endurance Series - Pinnacle Mountain
The event takes place at Pinnacle Mountain State Park and uses sections of the Kingfisher Trail. The course is a clearly marked 3.1 mile (5K) loop that returns each lap to a central start/finish area with a fully stocked aid station.
The trail surface is primarily dirt with natural roots and some uneven sections. Elevation changes are moderate and the route is described as runnable when paced over multiple loops, supporting consistent pacing and effort management across repeated laps.

The event uses a loop based format in which athletes complete one 5K loop at a time and decide whether to continue. Every completed loop is counted and honored without enforced cutoffs. The format is presented to accommodate athletes building distance and those stacking laps for longer efforts.
