The NERD Run

The NERD Run is an annual event hosted by the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute at the University of Alberta, held in Edmonton's scenic Kinsmen Park and river valley. The 10th edition takes place on September 13, 2025, offering distances of 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km for walking and running, suitable for all ages and abilities. The event raises awareness for brain and mental health research and features a timed race with chip timing.
