The 10 mile course runs north on Langhorne Road for about 3 miles, drops for the first 1.5 miles, then climbs to Rivermont Terrace before continuing onto Rivermont Avenue and past Randolph College toward Riverside Park along the James River. The route includes a clockwise loop through Riverside Park and returns to finish with a 1.5 mile climb on Farm Basket Hill. The 4.3 mile course follows part of the 10 mile route, uses the Langhorne Road Bridge bikeway extension, and starts and finishes at E.C. Glass High School.
Packet pickup is held in the days before the race at the Liberty Indoor Track Complex (1521 Liberty Mountain Dr) and on race day at E.C. Glass High School (2111 Memorial Avenue). Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Strollers and pets are prohibited except where ADA regulations require an exception. A corporate team competition is available to event sponsors only, with teams ranked by the cumulative time of the best five finishers. Time limits apply to each race.
